Whether you are into sport or adventure, fine dining or nightclubbing or arts and culture, Dubai has it all, from appreciating fine wine at one of Gordon Ramsey’s award winning restaurants (Verre), to rocking the night away at an International outdoor music festival. Perhaps you’re into camping and four-wheel driving in the desert or just like meeting up with friends at one of Dubai’s infamous Friday brunches; Dubai has certainly got a lot going on.

Restaurants and Bars
Dubai has an impressive range of restaurants and bars from Indian fast-food dinning to 5-star international cuisine. There is also a huge range of bars and nightclubs and specialist nights to cater for everyone’s taste in music. There is something to do every night of the week. A pint of lager costs around £2.50 and there are plenty of ladies nights offering free drinks promotions.

Shopping
Dubai is the shopping capital of the world and has over 30 fully air conditioned Shopping Centres parading all the familiar UK brands. Up-market boutiques include Armani, Gucci, Karen Millen, D&G, Paul Smith, Tods and plenty more. Other good purchases include electronics, diamonds and gold which are often found in the traditional souks (markets).

Sport & Leisure
For the sporting enthusiast there is a wide range of activities to keep you fit and healthy. Dubai has four International Golf Clubs including the Emirates Golf Club, host to the Dubai World Cup. There are numerous Soccer teams and leagues to join if you are a keen footballer. And just about everything in between from tennis to kite surfing.

Annual Events
January - Dubai Shopping Festival is a month-long shopping festival including raffles to win cars, gold and money. They have some of the biggest fireworks displays you will ever see.

March - Dubai Desert Classic is an International Golf Tournament attracting the likes of Tiger Woods and Ernie Els.

March – Dubai Tennis Open, part of the ITP circuit always attracts top seed players.

March - Dubai World Cup is the richest horse race in the world. A chance to dress up and strut your stuff.

November - Dubai Rugby 7’s Part of the IRB world circuit; 3 days of rugby, drinking and fun including the infamous Rugby Rock.
